Islami Bank has introduced Visa Dual Currency Prepaid Card [Find out the details]

Islami Bank has introduced dual currency prepaid cards of Bangladesh Visa brand.

The card can be used without a bank account, the bank said in a press release on Thursday.

This prepaid card is available in both plastic and virtual (selfin) formats.

With this card, transactions in money and foreign currency can be made,  payment  can  be made on any e-commerce site at home and abroad.

Instant remittance and freelancing payments can be accepted from any country in the world through Visa Direct service.

Again, using this card, the highest transactions in foreign currency will get smartphones.

However, one percent cashback is available if remittance or payment of dual currency prepaid card is deposited from abroad.

This offer will run till October 30 this year.

Islami Bank's Dual Currency Plastic Prepaid Card can be availed instantly from any branch / sub-branch.

Selfin users can also get an additional dual currency card number (virtual card) by sending a request from their app.

However, you have to approve for dual currency transactions through passport.

In this case, the limit of use of foreign currency set by Bangladesh Bank is a maximum of ড 300 per transaction and ১২ 12,000 per year.

In addition to prepaid cards, Islami Bank also has Khidmah (credit) and debit cards of Visa and MasterCard brands, the press release said.

These card users will get attractive discounts and zero percent EMI facility on bill payment of various hospital services, electronics products, clothing, hotel-restaurant, tourist service and air tickets.
